The $50 booking deposit
It comes straight off your bill - here’s how it works.
To reserve dedicated time for every patient, online bookings are secured with a $50 deposit, fully credited toward your treatment when you attend.
- No payment is taken online. After you book, our Sandstone Point team calls you to process the deposit securely by card.
- Your appointment time is held for 24 hours while we confirm. The deposit needs to be paid within that window for the appointment to be secured.
- On the day, the full $50 is deducted from your bill.
- If you don’t attend, or cancel with less than two business days’ notice, the deposit is forfeited. It covers the time we’ve set aside for you.
- The deposit does not apply to free consultations.

How to pay
Flexible Payment Options
Spread the cost of treatment with payments from $20 per week. We offer several options including Zip, Afterpay and PayPal Pay in 4, with TLC payment plans for larger treatments. Eligible patients may also be able to access their superannuation through SuperCare. DVA card holders are welcome, and eligible children may be bulk-billed under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

Your first 60-minute appointment includes a thorough examination with any necessary x-rays, a professional clean, and an oral health screening. We take extra time to make sure you’re comfortable, answer your questions, and put together a care plan that suits you.

Beyond Dental Care Sandstone Point is a preferred provider with nib and HCF, and many more. This means eligible patients typically pay less out of pocket for covered treatments. We accept all private health funds and process your claim on the spot with HICAPS – so you pay the gap only, on the day, with no paperwork.
We also welcome DVA card holders, bulk-bill eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, and offer payment plans for larger treatments so cost doesn’t have to be the reason you put something off.

We work with SuperCare, a registered agent with the Tax Practitioners Board of Australia, who manages this process on your behalf. Our team can connect you with SuperCare directly so you can find out whether you’re eligible.
No credit check. No repayments. A one-time service fee applies (discussed directly with SuperCare). Approval typically takes 2–8 weeks, subject to ATO assessment.
