Margot started her dental career 26 years ago in Sydney as a dental assistant, where she completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting and Certificate IV in Dental Radiography. Over the years, she’s grown through every role in the practice – from chairside assisting and reception to treatment coordination and now practice management.
In 2004, she spent two years working across London in private practices, government clinics, and hospitals, gaining experience across all areas of dentistry. She also volunteered in West Timor, delivering much-needed dental care to remote village communities.
Margot has an interest in orthodontics, complex TMD treatment, sleep-disordered breathing, early intervention orthodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic crown and bridge work. She believes in taking a holistic approach to oral health as part of overall wellbeing. Her additional studies in kinesiology and diploma in remedial massage bring a unique understanding of how oral health connects to the whole body.
What drives Margot most is helping patients understand their treatment and overall oral health through education. She finds her work most rewarding when supporting chronic pain patients and cosmetic cases, seeing the life-changing effects that quality dental care can have. Outside of work, she loves to travel, enjoys live music, socializes with friends, and relaxes at home with her two cats.
