Many patients we see from Sandgate come to us wanting to deal with dental work that has been building up – old fillings beginning to crack, crowns that no longer feel quite right, or a check-up that has been put off longer than planned. When you call or book online, let us know it’s been a while. We’ll allow extra time at the first appointment. Dr Sivan, Dr Billy and Dr Matthew each take time to explain what they can see before anything is discussed further. Nothing proceeds without your understanding and agreement.

What We Treat – Restorations, Emergencies and General Care

We treat general, restorative and cosmetic dental conditions across all age groups. If you’re unsure whether we can help with something specific, call at (07) 3869 4555 – it’s usually quicker than trying to work it out online.

Check-ups & Cleans

Examination, scale and clean, and X-rays where needed. A sensible starting point if you haven’t been in for a while.

Emergency Dental

We keep appointments available for patients in acute pain or with broken teeth, lost fillings or damaged restorations. Call (07) 3869 4555 to check same-day availability.

Restorations & Crowns

Repair and replacement of old fillings, cracked teeth and failing crowns. Dr Matthew Bell specialises in restorative and prosthodontic work, including onlays and adhesive restorations.

Root Canal Treatment

Treatment to clear infection and preserve a tooth that would otherwise need to come out. Available with Dr Sivan Amin and Dr Billy Kim.

Extractions & Wisdom Teeth

Including surgical extraction of wisdom teeth. We’ll always discuss whether keeping the tooth is a viable option before recommending removal.

Children’s Dentistry

We see children from their first dental visit onwards. Dr Billy Kim has a specific focus on paediatric care and is experienced with children who find dental visits difficult.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Porcelain crowns, composite bonding, veneers and teeth whitening. Cosmetic consultations are available with Dr Sivan Amin.

Orthodontics

Traditional braces and clear aligner options. Speak to reception about which dentist to book an assessment with.

TMJ & Jaw Pain

Assessment and management of jaw joint pain, grinding and clenching. Dr Matthew Bell fits Michigan splints and manages occlusal issues.

Mouthguards

Custom-fitted sports guards and night guards. Usually completed across two short appointments.

Children’s Dental and the Medicare CDBS

We see children from their first dental visit through to their teenage years. Dr Billy Kim has a specific focus on paediatric care and is experienced with children who are nervous about dental appointments.

From 1 January 2026, eligible children aged 0-17 may receive up to $1,158 in dental benefits over two consecutive calendar years under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).

The CDBS covers examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fillings and extractions. It does not cover orthodontics or cosmetic procedures.

Eligibility is linked to your child being Medicare-eligible and your family receiving certain Centrelink payments. Reception can check eligibility when you call to book.

We’re at 54 North Road, Brighton QLD 4017. From Sandgate, follow Flinders Parade south along the foreshore — past Decker Park — and turn left onto North Road. We’re about 600 metres along on the right. Free on-site parking is available at the practice. The drive from central Sandgate takes around 8 minutes.
