At Beyond Dental Care, we understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable, leading to the need to reschedule or cancel your dental appointment. As part of our commitment to providing excellent care and service to you whilst respecting the value of time for both you and our clinicians, we have implemented a new policy concerning late cancellation of appointments, or failure to attend appointments.
We kindly ask you to provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This notice period allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment time to another patient in need of our services. If you need to notify us of your inability to attend outside of business hours, please leave a voicemail or send us a message through our website chat.
Where 48 hours’ notice is not provided, we will require a deposit of $100 to secure further appointment bookings with our clinic. This deposit will be applied as a credit toward the next scheduled appointment if it is attended. You will forfeit the deposit if less than 48 hours’ notice is provided to reschedule or cancel your appointment, or if you fail to attend your appointment without notification.
We believe this policy reflects the importance that we place on both your time and ours, ensuring that our schedule runs efficiently and effectively to accommodate the important requirements of all our patients.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and exceptions to this policy may be made by the Practice Manager on a case-by-case basis. We strive to provide understanding and compassion whilst upholding the importance of our appointment scheduling process.
